A to Z Challenge 2016: Zentangle-Inspired Art
I will be tangling my way through the alphabet. Zentangle is a form of abstract art formed from tangles: patterns of simple lines and curves. A traditional Zentangle is drawn on a 3.5 inch square tile. Since my art is in a larger format, it is Zentangle-inspired. I will be using the list of tangles on Tanglepatterns.com to journey through a Zentangle-inspired alphabet this month. Each day I will choose at least one tangle that is new to me.
For F, I chose three new tangles: Fandango, Featherfall, and Fang.

Very neat :) I had not heard of zentangles before. How long does it take you to draw one?
Tracy (Black Boots, Long Legs)
Tracy, It depends on how detailed it is. This one did not take very long, but my drawing for C took over an hour.
I love the art and am intrigued by the words. Where do the patterns get their names?
Very cool! Happy A to Z'ing!
Interesting!
Evalina, This and that...
Jen, the artist who creates the tangle, or pattern, gets to name it.
Thank you, Shawn and Evalina!
