I have so many crochet, knit, and beading wips that are hibernating right now.  And I have found a new creative obsession:  art journaling.

I have been pinning and searching and oohing and aahing on Pinterest.

I bought a sketchbook and I have been experimenting with some new techniques.  Here is the cover page I created yesterday.

This sketchbook is now my new favorite wip.  I wonder how long it will take me to fill all the pages.

-I have wanted to do this with my earbuds for a long time, so long that I'm not even sure if the earbuds are worth the work anymore :)  Maybe I should buy new earbuds and then crochet them a cover.

This hat was so easy to make.  I actually finished it in July, but just took pictures today.  I adore the little ears.  This is part of a gift for my husband's coworker who just had a little baby girl.  I hope they love it.

I finally found the perfect buttons for my 50 Shades of Grey Cowl.

I am very excited to finish this cowl and get it sent to it's new owner.

Dex vs. Bunzo - Diva Challenge 217

This week's challenge was a duo-tangle using Dex and Bunzo.  The Diva chose these tangles to commemorate her upcoming 35th birthday (Dex has 3 letters, Bunzo has 5).  I decided to further commemorate the Diva's 35th birthday by using String #35 from the Tanglepatterns website.  I really like this one.

Brella Kitty - Diva Challenge 216

This is my entry for the Diva's challenge this week.

The challenge this week was to use the tangle Brella by Bunny Wright, CZT.  My cat was sitting on my legs and inspired me to draw a cat shape for this Zentangle-inspired art.  I filled the cat with Brella, the filled the cushion with Bubbles.  Then I filled the background with AHH and Zinger.  I am posting a little late this week, but better late than never, right?

I am on the last strip of my cowl.  I made the first two too long, but I think I will leave them like that.  We'll see what it looks like when it's all done.  I still need to buy buttons but this cowl should be done really soon.

Honestly, it should already be finished, but I have been involved in a lot of projects recently and lacking time for crochet.  I will get it done this week :)
